Home Pest Help (homepest.help) is a free referral service that connects US homeowners by phone with independent local pest control and wildlife removal providers. This page explains what information is collected when you use this site or call the number shown on it.
Information collected when you call
Calls placed through the phone number on this site are routed by a third-party call-tracking network to an independent provider. To route and bill calls, the network and the provider may receive:
- Your phone number and caller ID information
- The date, time and length of the call
- Your general location or ZIP code, used to find a provider who serves your area
- Information you choose to share during the call, such as the type of problem at your home
Calls may be recorded by the call-tracking network or the provider for quality, dispute and billing purposes. Where a call is recorded, you may hear a notice at the start of the call.
Information collected on this website
This site has no forms and does not ask you to create an account. Like most websites, the hosting server automatically logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited. If advertising or analytics tools (for example, the Meta Pixel) are added to this site, they may set cookies to measure visits from ads. This policy will be updated if that happens.
How information is used
- To connect your call with a provider who serves your area
- To confirm which calls came from this site, so referral fees can be calculated
- To detect duplicate or fraudulent calls
Home Pest Help does not sell your personal information and does not use it to contact you. Any follow-up about your service comes from the provider you spoke with.
Who receives your information
Your call details are shared with the call-tracking network that routes the call and with the independent provider who answers it. Each of them handles your information under their own privacy policy. Ask the provider for theirs during the call.
Your choices
You can end a call at any time. To ask about information related to a call made through this site, or to request that it be deleted where possible, email admin@homepest.help with the phone number you called from and the approximate date of the call.
Children
This service is intended for homeowners and adults responsible for a home. It is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
